What name servers do I use on my VPS?

You can use the following NS servers:

1) NS servers of your domain registrar. In this case, the management of the DNS for your domain possibly through the control panel of your registrar. Please ask your domain registrar about this possibility.

2) Your own name servers. You will need at least 2 IP addresses and name server software running on your VPS server. You can manage DNS entries for your domain from your control panel installed on the VPS, or manually (by editing configuration files).

3) NS server of our company. Unfortunately, at this point, we don't have automated way of processing such requests. API still in development. Therefore, all requests to add domains are only processed manually, by your request.

What to check after following this guide

After changing settings, make sure the result works not only in the control panel but also for real website visitors or mailbox users. Test without browser cache and avoid changing many settings at once unless you know exactly what each change does.

For domains, check which DNS records are visible from outside. If records were changed recently, some networks may still use the old values until DNS propagation is complete.

  • check the name servers at the registrar;
  • verify A, MX, TXT, CNAME or other required records;
  • wait for DNS propagation if the change was recent.
