If your computer is running Windows:

- run explorer ( conductor) and looking in the directory windows hosts file

- open the hosts file to edit and enter the line at the end :

IP domain (for example : 91.203.146.1 mydomain.com.ua)

where IP- find in the invitation letter domain - your domain name that you provided when ordering hosting. Save the file and try to open the browser on your site domain name.

- After you have completed verification of its operation site, you need to delete a row that you have registered with the hosts file

 

If your computer is running Linux or other unix system .

- We perform the same steps as above , only the hosts file to look in the / etc directory

What to check after following this guide

After changing settings, make sure the result works not only in the control panel but also for real website visitors or mailbox users. Test without browser cache and avoid changing many settings at once unless you know exactly what each change does.

For domains, check which DNS records are visible from outside. If records were changed recently, some networks may still use the old values until DNS propagation is complete.

  • check the name servers at the registrar;
  • verify A, MX, TXT, CNAME or other required records;
  • wait for DNS propagation if the change was recent.
