Softaculous helps install WordPress and other popular CMS platforms from the hosting control panel without uploading files manually.

  1. Log in to the hosting control panel and open Softaculous Auto Installer.
  2. Select the CMS you need, for example WordPress, and click Install.
  3. Choose the protocol and domain where the site should be installed.
  4. If the site must open from the domain root, leave the directory field empty.
  5. Check the database name, table prefix, administrator login, password and email address.
  6. Click Install and wait until the installer finishes.

After installation, open the site and the admin panel, save the access details and update the CMS, theme and plugins if updates are available.

What to check after following this guide

After changing settings, make sure the result works not only in the control panel but also for real website visitors or mailbox users. Test without browser cache and avoid changing many settings at once unless you know exactly what each change does.

For CMS or WordPress, test the homepage, admin area, forms and dynamic pages after changes. If an error appears, revert the latest change and review the logs.

  • update plugins only after a backup;
  • check PHP version compatibility;
  • clear cache after changing settings.
